Our ‘Challenge’:
We have had to change our plans (slightly) due to some logistical problems with arranging our own marathon style events. However, we are currently negotiating spaces in the ‘Run to the Beat’ half marathon, held on 26th September 2010 , starting and finishing at the O2 arena - www.runtothebeat.co.uk - Click Here for the runners map. We may be able to get more spaces depending on how many people volunteer to raise money for the Forces Children’s Trust. So, if you fancy running in a well established (and fun) half marathon and raising funds for the Trust let us know by registering your interest!
Watch this space also for details of a couple of individuals who are considering an ‘extreme’ run.
We have six people completing a cross channel swim, hopefully the weekend 26th September (weather permitting). All spaces are taken but any support/sponsorship is greatly welcomed.
Our final ‘challenge’ is a cycle ride from Calais to the British Army training base in Sennelager, Germany (340-375miles). The ride starts on 28th September 2010 and finishes with a social function at the base on 1st October 2010
Full details of the events can be found on their individual pages
No……..you don’t have to do all of it, although please feel free to sign up for as many as you like!!!!!
If you would like to join in with the half marathon or cycle stages contact us either via the registration page or at

They are our ‘challenges’, what’s yours?? Let us know and we can publicise and offer any assistance that we can. Some great events are being organised and our thanks to those who are working hard for the cause To help a child is an honour.
We need you As well as participants we need help! In particular we need people to assist with supporting events and also anyone who can travel with the team across France/Belgium/Holland and Germany in support of the cycle phases. Specific skills such as physiotherapy/masseuse and medical training would be very much appreciated!! As the ‘Challenge’ is to raise funds for charity we would ask that any persons kind enough to become part of the support team raise whatever sponsorship they can to assist with expenses. Please join the adventure and contact us at
