The Fire Engine pull went ahead on one of the hottest days of the year, great for the 'bucket shakers' but not for the lads from Bromley Fire station !!! As a result of a huge effort the team pulled the 1950's engine around the Bromley shopping area, gathering donations from shoppers enjoying the weather.

On the day a superb total of £1,636 was collected. As an extremely generous gesture the team from Bromley Fire station have allocated £500 to the Fire Service benevolent fund and the remaining £1,136 to The Forces Children's Trust.

All of us would like to offer our heartfelt thanks and appreciation of the effort made by Bromley Fire Service in joining us at The Challenge 2010 and generously supporting the Forces Children's Trust. Well done !!
