The ‘Challenge’ aims to encourage people and organisations to set themselves a ‘challenge’ during 2010, and in doing so raise funds for

the Forces Childrens Trust. The trust is devoted to helping dependant children that have lost a parent whilst serving with the Armed Forces.

Fentons solicitors continue to support The Challenge 2010 by holding a 'dress down' day at their offices. All proceeds for the privilage of wearing 'more casual' claothing will go towards The Challenge 2010 sponsorship.

The Challenge 2010 have been allocated a stall at the air show this year to promote the Challenge 2010 and the Forces Children's Trust. Details of the Challenge will be available, along with with the sale of wrist bands/lapel badges. All welcome to come along and support The Challenge 2010

Parkhouse Rugby Football club are supporting the Challenge 2010. There will be a 'Challenge 2010' stall on the day, along with an auction and raffle.

 

Are you up for the challenge of entering the competition on behalf of 'The Challenge 2010?' There is £250 prize money for the winning team and it would be great if the winners were to donate that to the Forces Children's Trust

Jon Boutcher

The RamJon Boutcher took up the very first offer of The Challenge 2010 and ran the Virgin London Marathon this year to raise money for the Forces Childrens Trust, raising a superb £3515.95 !!!!. Unfortunately Jon ran incognito.

 

This is what he had to say about the day;

 

"It was a brilliant day on Sunday with many people cheering all the way when they saw the Forces Children's Trust logo on my shirt. Somehow I did manage to complete the marathon in under 4 hours with a time of 3 hours 54 minutes and 4 seconds.
